IVF Centre at Medini is under the capable management of leading medical specialists in the field of assisted reproduction medicine, who are also dedicated pioneers and researchers in the fields of obstetrics, embryology and fertility.

Our certified specialists have years of clinical experience in IVF and infertility treatments, and have helped many of our patients in becoming parents. Our embryologists not only possess the clinical expertise; they are also experts in the use of the state-of-the-art laboratory equipment needed to preserve viability of harvested eggs and embryos. Our nurses are dedicated to providing quality patient care. Last but not least, our administrators are well-equipped to answer any questions or concerns that you may have regarding the various services we provide.

Dr. Jayanthi graduated from Universiti Malaya in 1993. She became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), UK in 2000 and subsequently a Fellow of the RCOG (FRCOG), UK in 2015. She has significant expertise in obstetric and gynaecologic procedures, having worked in both rural and urban healthcare settings in Malaysia, namely Hospital Taiping (1993-1994), Hospital Teluk Intan (1994-1995) and Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Bahru (1995-2003). She also completed a fellowship at the department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G) in National University Hospital, Singapore. Subsequently, she ventured into private healthcare, working at a private maternity centre in Johor Bahru from 2003 to 2015. She is also an academic staff at the Clinical School of Monash University Malaysia.

Having a keen interest in metabolic disorders relating to Obstetrics & Gynaecology, as well as the link between breast health and disorders of the ovaries, Dr. Jayanthi has undertaken several research initiatives, together with her colleagues and students. She is also interested in exploring infertility in those with obesity, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and metabolic syndromes, leading to her enthusiasm in IVF treatments.

Dr Hon graduated from University Putra Malaysia with the MMA gold medal award. She received her early O&G training in Hospital Kuala Lumpur before moving on to the National University Hospital (Singapore). She became a member of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), UK in 2007. She obtained Advanced Ultrasound Training in in Kings College Hospital and University Hospital Bristol, UK and has worked in the UK before returning to Malaysia.

Dr Hon’s main field of interest is in Fetal Medicine and Infertility (including IVF). Dr Hon also offers a good range of gynecological treatment including advanced laparoscopic surgeries, urinary incontinence surgeries (such as tension free vaginal tapes) and vaginal repair surgeries for prolapsed. Dr Hon is one of the few female gynecologist in Malaysia who offers IVF treatment to help couples to fulfill their dream of parenthood.

Our team of embryologists possess the credentials and the clinical experience in the fields of embryology and andrology. They are also dedicated to the pursuit of continuing medical education in these fields in order to provide the latest treatments to improve patient outcomes and success rates.
